Steve grew up in Selma and attended Immanuel High school, where he met his high school sweetheart

and future wife Krista. They have been married for 29 years and have four amazing children – Emilie,

Claire, Maddie, and SJ, plus an amazing son-in-law, Sam.

Steve came to know the Lord at a very young age and was blessed to be raised by Godly parents and a

Godly grandpa who lived with them throughout his childhood. Steve enjoyed playing baseball

throughout his life and enjoyed coaching all his children in soccer and baseball through the years.

Steve is currently the Superintendent/Principal of Traver Joint Elementary School and has been with the

district for twenty-nine years. He feels that it has truly been a blessing to be “on mission” in his own

backyard. It is his hope that the Lord will use him and the church to share the Love of Jesus throughout

our communities.
