Our Mission Statement
Our mission statement is "Helping people connect to God and to each other in every neighborhood." God has been on mission from the very beginning by calling a people to Himself so that His name would be known and glorified by showing and sharing the message of Jesus. As a church, our goal is to expose people to, and help them engage in, every neighborhood of our city, nation and world. We do this in Missions through partnering with individuals and organizations, and through exposure trips (see bottom of page).
Our Own Mission
Not only do we have an opportunity to partner with others on mission, we have the privilege and responsibility to be on mission ourselves. Check out this Gospel Fluency Class to help prepare you more as you are on mission where you live, work, learn, and play.
ADOPTING A PARTNER/Mission Connection Groups
We ask everyone that calls The Well Kingsburg home to ‘adopt’ both a local and a global partner. This means that you are committing to praying for them, and being open to creative opportunities to serve them, or to serve on their behalf. The way we approach this is through a method we call ‘Mission Connection Groups’, which will be the way we encourage others to rally around our partners together.
This consists of being put in a group through the churchcenter app, where the bulk of ongoing communication and information will be dispersed. Every group will have its own unique flavor, with each group establishing one prayer gathering annually and one serve opportunity (local) or care package (global).

Instead of giving a little to many families and/or world-wide organizations, our strategy is to give more to a few “missionaries” (we call them extended family, remembering that we are ALL missionaries) and/or organizations. Our hope is that every one of us would “adopt” one of our extended family below (click on their name to find out more info and how you might partner with them):
Kingdom Builders Mexico Trip
We are joyfully partnering with Kingdom Builders Ministries located out in Tijuana. Their reputation and impact in the kingdom has been self-evident, as their efforts have produced over 60 community churches and 800+ homes built for families in need. Our team has been preparing for this since our initial visit to them back in November of 2024. We had an information luncheon with pastor Daniel back on March 2nd, and if you would like to watch it, you can find all of it here.
We are planning on visiting them from Monday, December 28th of this year, until Friday, January 2nd. A number of factors went into making this decision, and we hope to take a balance of upper-classmen and adults on this trip. Underclassmen will not be attending unless they can show a high level of emotional intelligence and work ethic. We want this initial trip to be one where we build a partnership with a particular community, while also building a home for a family that is in need of one as they engage in a discipleship journey, and at the end of the week we will host a VBS experience for children in that particular community. We will absolutely need 2-3 people on this team who speak spanish and can help translate as we build relationships in this community. If you know of someone who is a fluent spanish-speaker, please encourage them to sign up!
This is an opportunity to deepen your faith while making an impact in the kingdom by serving a community that is financially poor, but rich in spirit. I believe that this experience will be an intentional discipleship journey, where you will grow as you experience mission trip trainings, build connection and community with your team, and see the way the Lord can move by willingly serving a community that is in need.
