Phil was born in Hot Springs Arkansas in 1947. His family moved to the Dinuba area to be a part of an agricultural community. He attended Dinuba area schools and graduated from Dinuba High in 1966. Phil has a Masters in educational administration from Fresno State. He served as an educator and administrator in Kingsburg and is now retired.

Phil and his wife Nancy have enjoyed over 50 years of marriage. They have two adult children, Kristi and Matt, and two grand daughters. They enthusiastically support their granddaughters, attending many soccer and volleyball games.  And they have been attending and serving at the Well for several years, leading life groups and serving in other ministries.  Phil says “We love the people in our church family!"

Becoming a follower of Jesus during his sophomore year at Reedley College, Nancy was instrumental in Phil’s coming to saving faith in Jesus. His heart has always been evangelistic and the greatest joy of his life has been God allowing him the privilege to share Jesus with others and lead them into a relationship with Him!

Phil is an avid reader, loves water skiing, and is an accomplished runner, having participated in the Boston marathon twice.
