Tuesday, June 16

12:30pm - Meet at The Well Ministry Center (1424 Draper Street, Kingsburg, CA) Parent/Guardian must stay with child until they sign in student and do health screening.

(Lunch will not be provided, please feed your kids before you arrive)

1pm - Depart for Camp Sugar Pine, Oakhurst

3pm - Arrive at Camp Sugar Pine (Jake will text everyone once they are arrived and settled in)

Saturday, June 20

9am - Head home! We’ll text parents an ETA when we leave

11am - Arrive at the Well Ministry Center

A few other things!

Please do not bring more luggage than a backpack, carry-on suitcase, sleeping bag and pillow. Luggage Space will be limited!

Mark outside of your bags with: STUDENT NAME, The Well Kingsburg

Medication: If you listed any medications for your student when you registered them, please label each of them with specific instructions on how to administer them and make sure they get handed to Jake at drop off.

Packing List & Important Info

Here is a list to help you pack and get ready for camp! Pack for spending a week in the mountains, warm days & cool nights.

  •      Suitcase (1) (CARRY ON SIZE ONLY!)

  •      Backpack/ daypack

  •      Pillow

  •      Sleeping Bag

  •      Shower Towel

  •      Multiple Modest Swimsuits

  • Water or Swimming Shoes (if desired)

  •      Watch

  •      Sunblock - Very important!

  •      Chapstick

  •      Bug Spray

  •      Flashlight

  •      Sandals

  •      Changes of clothing

  •      Sweatshirt or Heavy Jacket, it gets chilly at night time!

  •      Toiletries (Shampoo, soap, toothbrush & toothpaste and deodorant)

  •      Bible (Bible can be provided upon request, just let us know)

  •      Notebook

  •      Pen

  • Poncho or rain jacket

More Important Info – Please Read!

o   Spending Money ($20 for spending money in snack shop)

o   Mark outside of your bags with: YOUR NAME, The Well Kingsburg

o   If you listed any medications when you registered your medical information, they MUST be given to us in a Ziploc bag clearly labeled with YOUR NAME, the appropriate usage, and The Well Kingsburg.

Do not bring: Drugs (unless prescribed by a doctor), alcohol, tobacco, fireworks, firearms, electronic devices (cell phone policy below, MP3 players, E-readers, handheld video games, etc.) Part of what makes this week so good is no electronics.  

Cell phones will NOT be allowed at camp without prior permission. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to get away from technology for this week. Jake will have WiFi access to communicate with any parents. Disposable cameras are a great option for pictures for students also! If we need to make an exception because of personal reasons, please consult with Jake.
